Austin is an exquisitely balanced dog with beautiful angles front and rear, a lovely blend of neck into shoulder and a top line that is more level than a piece of art at The Louvre. He carries beautiful
year-round correct coat with proper texture, has full dentition and a
correct scissor bite. Austin is moderate in every way, standing 23 1/2 inches at the withers and weighing 73 lbs. What is most impressive about Austin is his ability to be caught on film nearly every time a camera snaps in perfect motion. In our opinion, it is his true structure and correct proportions that allows this phenomanon to happen. Showing Austin was quite easy as he walks himself into the perfect stack every time! His movement is free and easy, he is always shown on a very loose lead, is extremely clean coming and going and he converges effortlessly.
Austin finished his American Championship easily with 3 majors (3,4,4) including a specialty major. Along the way he was BOSS (his first weekend out in June 2007), RWD at GRCA's Eastern Regional Specialty and WD/JAM at Mid-Florida Golden Retriever Club's specialty in June 2008!
Austin has been a dream come true and we cannot thank John Moore and Daniel Kautz enough for allowing us to be a part of Austin's life and
show career! The ride with this incredibly sound animal is one that has certainly chaged our perspective on things! Novice Owner Handlers CAN do it! Thank you to all of our friends and all of Austin's "fans" who made this journey so much fun!
