Am CH. Steadmor's Destined For Questan
Destin is our first Champion here at Questan Goldens. Little did we know back in November of 2005 when we flew up to Steadmor Goldens in Richmond, VA to be a part of the birth of his litter that Destin would become a part of our lives. It was our intention to bring home a little girl from the Ch Dakota's Magic Hell'ucination, OS, SDHF x Pawnee's All That 'N' More breeding but there was obviously a larger plan in store for us!
Destin grew up as a singleton and at 7 weeks there just wasn't any way that he could live anywhere other than Questan Goldens! He has the hallmark golden retriever temperment and has never met a dog or person that wasn't his new best friend. He constantly amuses us with his antics, from stealing toilet paper to water bottles to his infamous "take a bow" that he knows will get him a treat! Even though his show career has been nothing short of thrilling, his temperment is what we are most proud of!
Destin was beautifully presented in the conformation ring by Jane Myers and finished his Championship easily with 3 major wins. Destin stands 24 1/2 inches tall and has an exquisite topline and tail that is carried directly level with his back. The most impressive thing when you watch Destin in a ring or just naturally doing his thing is his great big side gait. He can fly! He is very clean coming and going, has beautiful coat and a proper scissor bite (and no missing teeth).
Destin was bred by Jacqueline Morasco of Steadmor Goldens and is owned by Julie Kielts, Jacqueline Morasco and Terryl Mueller.
In limited breedings, Destin has produced AKC CH pointed, JH and BISS puppies with exceptional temperments. He has also been selected as a stud dog for a Service Dog organization. For information on incorporating Destin into your breeding program, please contact us.
