Stitch is a joyfully happy beautiful boy out of our "Sewing Litter" in 2007. He lives with his adoring owners (who happen to be my talented and wonderful veterinarian) Elizabeth Baird, her husband Bob and their incredible son, Alex.
Stitch came out to the dog shows a few times as a young dog when Alex expressed some interest in exhibiting in junior showmanship. That phase passed and Stitch spent a few years at home growing up. When we saw him in late 2011 we thought we'd "try him" at a few local shows.
Stitch's first weekend out in Ocala, FL he was awarded a 3 point major WD/BOW under judge Houston Clark. From there, he went to Brooksville, FL to show at the Florida Gulf Coast Golden Retriever Club Specialty and was awarded Winners Dog by Jeffrey Pepper for 4 more points from the Bred By Exhibitor class. Stitch also went RWD on Sunday, January 15th, 2012 in Brooksville in some heavy competition.
We plan to show him locally and hope to finish his Championship in 2012.
